Tomorrow Christina and I are celebrating our seven years of married life. Anya is now 4 and Kyan is 2. Just for fun, I’ve asked all of them to tell me what they wished for the coming year:

Go to a country where there is snow for Christmas.

Do exciting things in my job. Spend nice holidays overseas.

There is a very interesting discussion going on on Eddy Young’s blog on the meaning of being Mauritian.

My opinion is it’s only through more mixed marriages that problems like ‘communalisme’ will one day be solved…
