I’ve uploaded some of our photos on flickr to check if everything works correctly.
I’ll be evaluating flickr these coming days to see whether to scrap my Coppermine album or not…

Apple sends shockwaves to the world once more : it has released a new mouse, called the Mighty Mouse (crap name IMHO), which detects right clicks!!!
PC owners (with their 2-button mouse) and Unix-box owners (with their 3-button mouse) won’t understand. But releasing a mouse capable of detecting right-clicks is as revolutionary for Apple as was the creation of Windows NT by Micro$oft.
Prior to NT, Micro$oft had Windows 3.0, 3.1 and 3.11 which were crap graphical shells running on the primitive MS-DOS. They knew that those versions of Windows were crap. They knew they didn’t have the knowledge to build a real OS. So they asked Dave Cutler, the father of VMS at DEC, to make Windows NT for them (VMS+1=WNT).
Apple has done the same thing. They had a bad product : the 1-button mouse. They knew it was a crap idea to have a 1-button mouse in the world of contextual pop-up menus. They hired someone to come up with a new idea. And the Mighty Mouse was born.
Key features are:
This mouse is sold at $49 (Rs. 1500) in the US. I want one.
Long live the Mighty Mouse. But get rid of that crap name. iMouse is better. I think.

I am happy to tell you that some great photos have been added to our album. Don’t forget to rate them and to leave comments while visiting.
By the way, all of those photos were taken on slide (positive) film (Fuji Sensia II mostly) and were kept for years in very stringent conditions. I have just scanned them using my new Minolta DiMAGE Scan Elite II scanner (a gift from my parents actually). Some of the slides were in bad shape but I’ve really tried to resurrect them :-)
