I’ve never bought any lottery in my whole life even though I live in a world where mostly everyone buys lotteries or scratch cards nearly everyday dreaming of winning millions. Of course, I also dream of making millions but, deep inside, I know that I can only achieve that through hard work. I’ve just stumbled upon this great lottery simulator and, now, I can prove that my strategy is, well, better.
And, anyway, I don’t want to be rich. I just want to be wealthy.
Brought to you by Get Rich Slowly, where you can learn how to win the lottery.
Or you can read about how to get out of debt, high yield savings accounts, Roth IRAs, and other smart investments.

Same here, I’ve played loto at most three times since it came out and just Rs 20 each. Most people play around Rs100 per week which makes up to Rs4800 per year and this could easily go into a savings plan. If the authorities had come up with the idea to increase VAT by 1% I’m sure there would have been an uproar but but by playing loto people are actually filling the government coffins plus the promoters’.

You’re 100% right. Lotteries are just a form of tax that nearly everyone pays except for a few :-)
Like you said, it’s wiser (and more lucrative) to invest that money in a good savings or insurance plan.

Thanks for sharing. This is yet another proof that lotteries make people lose money…
