In twenty minutes, Manchester United is coming to Anfield and I think Liverpool will comprehensively beat them 4-0.
This is what happened 20 years ago when Manchester United came to Liverpool and Kenny Dalglish was the Manager. I think Peter Beardsley had a hat trick on that day.
History tends to repeat itself.
PS: Andy Carroll is on the bench. I feel he’ll come during the second half and score that 4th goal.

hmm close enough…

You were not far in your prediction. I must say that Carragher was very lucky to stay on the pitch. That said, Nani is so used to trying to influence the refrees that his reputation preceded him. It was a good thing that it was close to half time, because things were starting to get out of control at this point in the game. I must say that I was impressed with Suarez. Torres and Suarez partnership would have been lethal. Suarez can score, can create chances and can even take freekick. Torres cannot take freekick.

Not a bad guess at all! Could easily have been 4-0. And we had another hat-trick in the fixture.

Liverpool could have won 4-0.
But, as I’ve written elsewhere, I prefer winning (only) 3-1 now and then managing to get into the top four at the end of the season. Now that Suarez has shown to the world how good he is and that Carroll is fit again, who knows what is going to happen?
Suarez is not a No 9. He is more of a 9 1/2 (Ã la Cantona). With our new No 9 (Carroll), I think that the combination will be lethal.
Heck, Liverpool can even aspire to play 4-3-3 (Ã la Ajax) now with Suarez – Carroll – Kuyt in front.
The midfield would then have to be 2 defensive minded players and 1 offensive for balance. Now that Lucas is our Makelele, this means that one of Gerrard or Mereiles will have to stay near him. As far as I saw yesterday, this is what Gerrard did during the whole of the first half.
BTW, Manchester United lost yesterday because they were forced to attack because they couldn’t rely on their makeshift defense. This left quite a lot of space for our players to exploit on the counter.

I’ve never seen such weak league leaders for a long time.
