Since creating Ideas to make Mauritius better! two days ago, 19 different people have submitted 48 unique ideas and cast 395 votes which is a good start. I would like to thank all of those who are participating.
Some people have mentioned that it would be nice to be able to attach comments to ideas but it seems that Google has not provided this facility and we’ll have to bear with it. I will try to contribute new ideas everyday. Please try to do the same and let’s see what happens after one month (in terms of quality and ranking of ideas.) I believe we’re in the middle of an interesting social experiment (à la Obama or Ségolène in fact.)
Ah. I was going to forget. I have created a much more palatable URL to go to the website (don’t hesitate to share it with all your friends):

I have just streamlined the topics.
I have merged Environment and Health to create “Health & Environment”. I have also merged Culture, Entertainment, Family and Society to create “Society”.
Unfortunately, merging means deleting ideas and recreating them in the other topic (Google Moderator is still in its infancy…) Unfortunately, this means that I’ve lost a few ideas (mainly from Mr. No.) Please recreate your ideas and re-vote for the ones I’ve re-created.
I won’t be doing this many times. Promised.
Here are the topics we have now:
* Economy
* Education
* Health & Environment
* Internet & Technology
* Law & Order
* Politics
* Religion
* Society
* Miscellaneous
Much saner. Isn’t it?

Hmm..I checked that earlier in fact…and could not see how to submit the ideas.. :S I could only notice something about loging in to vote…but how to really submit ideas confuses me?
Any help from you Sir, please :)
Thank you :)

Hi,
What is the idea of this.
Is there a secret body somewhere analysing and implementing the good stuff.
I doubt it.
Regards,
Prashant

Great initiative, keep it up!
Isnt there any way to add comments on the ideas?
avinash says
No. See above. Google does not allow that.
