He is part right but windows does release security patches like any other OS.
if “hackers” were to develop a piece of code to gain access to a pc.. i think they will go for windows rather than mac os or linux.

Maybe because windows has a great share of the market and developing a malware for windows, they could reach a larger number of people.
as the popularity of mac os increases and its market share also, the number of attack to mac systems will obviously increase! :P
Of course since Windows is very difficult to keep it as stable as possible.
Need to have particular solution to problems arising.

well, as for the windows issue…
another reason y hackers go towards exploiting windows rather than linux or Mac OS is probably n simply because they dont know how to hack those Operating Systems or even how to get to the root of the systems since they are still unfamiliar with their architecture…

MaC Os and linux are not invulnerable,
the effect is less severe, since in linux for exemple whenever a threat is known, it can be sorted out really quickly by many really good programmers supporting the cause of open source!
Besides hackers choose to exploit windows not because its relatively easy to get in, but its more like an inside war going out there

Hackers support the thought that everything should be shared and kind of real supporter of opensource
microsoft on the other hand copyrights everything
Btw vista comes with a new anti privacy measures.Those who have’nt shifted to opensource.. good luck using a pirated version of vista!!
