Apple has just released its new entry-level (?) laptop, the MacBook with the following detailed technical specs.
I won’t get into too much details except that I’ve been dreaming of acquiring a Mac since, well, 18 years…
I think I’ll (try to) buy the 2.0GHz version with a SuperDrive (aka DVD-writer), a 80Gb hard-disk and 1Gb of RAM. It’s available on Apple’s store at $1449 (which is approximately Rs 45,325). I wonder how much Leal Informatique will make me pay?!? Better, perhaps, is to find someone coming from abroad, I guess ;-)

What of the idea of running future Windows releases e.g Vista on your new Macbook? I don’t find the idea bad after all… Apple finally comes to realise where the future lies.

It’s just common sense in my opinion. It’s the first time Apple has some hardware capable of running Windows.
Personally, I’ll never ever run Windows on my hypothetical MacBook ;-)

Good time to purchase the Mac Book… Apple have released the Intel Core Duo to them. I bit the bullet and decided to get the iMac… best £800 I’ve ever spent!
