This information may be relatively old but it’s still funny… Micro$oft Windows XP contains files edited with a pirated version of Soundforge 4.5. Bill Gates must be soooo proud.
Open any audio file in C:\Windows\Help\Tours\WindowsMediaPlayer\Audio\Wav\ with, say, Notepad and scroll to the last line.
Yes!
You’ll see that the file has been edited using a copy of Soundforge 4.5 registered to someone called Deepz0ne who is one of the founding members of the warez group Radium, known to have cracked the original Fraunhofer MP3 codec.
Go figure :-)
