I feel a bit dizzy after staring at the image for a minute. LoL

The trick in that picture is that when you move your eyes you see it moving, But when you stare in way that your eyes wont move the picture won’t do so. I experienced it like that. I may be wrong because the picture is a gif. Am i right Avi?
Personally, I can see things moving even when my eyes are stationary :-)

I’m MUCH younger than you, so i think my theory is right, even if its a gif image. And its only an ILLUSION (false impression of reality). So i “should be right”. Make other people test it and then you tell me.

Well for me its a tool to regulate the neurons and practicing concentration which is used by Akiyoshi. The more you fix one black dot from the entire image, everything will stop moving and the more you stop concentrating on the black dot, your mind get distracted again you things move which means you are again back in the thinking process..
About the picture, its the way we perceived things, not every human being will see it moving!!.. Some may not.. There are some people who perceive things in 2D (usually tribes) whereas we perceive pictures in 3D. Check out the research conducted by Deregowski on pictorial perception about a tantalizing trident.. Well i remember studying this in my psychology class.. :)

Thanks for your comment, Nitin.
People perceive things differently and this is what makes them cool ;-)
